HAND Apps ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how HAND Recall ("the Application") handles information. By using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.
HAND Apps does not operate a server that receives or stores the user-created Notes, Recalls, Items, Boxes, Locations, or Photos entered into the Application.
User Content: Structured HAND Recall data such as Notes, Recalls, Items, Boxes, Locations, reminders, and preferences is stored locally in application storage and is protected by the Android application sandbox. Photos remain on your device and, depending on how they are captured or selected, may reside in application-local storage or device media storage.
Advertising & SDKs: The Application uses Google AdMob. Google Mobile Ads may process information including IP address, approximate/general location inferred from IP, device or advertising identifiers, app and advertising interactions such as app launches, taps, ad impressions, clicks or video views, and diagnostic/performance information. Purposes may include advertising, ad measurement, analytics related to advertising, fraud prevention, security, and compliance. This processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
The Application requests permission to access your device camera and photo library only when you choose to take a photo or attach an existing image. These images remain stored locally on your device.
In applicable regions, Google UMP may present privacy choices. Where available or required, you can revisit applicable privacy choices through Settings → Privacy options. Advertisement requests are controlled based on the consent state returned by the SDK.
The Application provides a foundation for a future optional cloud backup feature. Authorization for the drive.appdata scope is user-initiated and handled via Google Play Services. No user-created content is currently uploaded to Google Drive by this Application.
Local Backup: Exported local backup files remain under your control and may remain on the device or chosen storage location until you delete them.
System Backup: Eligible application data may be backed up by Android/Google system backup mechanisms according to your device settings, Google account settings, and Android backup behavior. Uninstalling the Application does not necessarily mean that a system backup copy has been immediately deleted from Google's systems.
On-device application data may be removed when you delete specific content, clear application data, or uninstall the Application. Advertising/SDK information processed by Google is subject to Google's own retention and deletion practices.
The Application is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the Application.
